Are you passionate about promoting health and wellness? Humber’s unique Nutrition and Healthy Lifestyle Promotion program is the only diploma of its kind in Canada, and is designed to prepare you for a fulfilling career encouraging individuals and groups of all ages to live healthier lifestyles.

This innovative program will provide you with the education and hands-on experience to work in the continuously growing health and wellness industry. The curriculum is founded on evidence-based nutrition information and is taught by registered dietitians and other regulated health-care professionals.

  • Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 6.0] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 550] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 80]

    Professional Industry Standards

    Once admitted into the program, you will be expected to follow professional industry standards for decorum, uniform, hygiene and personal presentation. Practical lab classes have strict uniform and attendance standards and policies which are mandatory for successful completion of these key courses.

    It is mandatory to wear a Humber issued uniform in practical lab classes in this program. Admittance to these classes is not permitted if you are not in uniform. The cost for the uniform has been added to your first semester tuition fees. In order for the uniform to be available for the first day of class, students must submit their size requirements via an online order form.     Placement Requirements

    The pre-requisite requirements must be fulfilled before the commencement of your placement. Participation in placements will not be allowed if not all the pre-requisite requirements are met.
